ABOUT SUP
Stand-up paddleboarding is a sport that originated in Hawaii, combining surfing with traditional paddleboards. The equipment consists of a paddle board (similar to a large surfboard) plus a single paddle that is taller than your height. When used in surfing, it is also called stand-up paddle surfing (referred to as SUP surfing). Paddle boards are also used in lakes, rivers, and other waters for exploration, flat water paddling, competition, surfing, rapids, paddle board yoga, fishing, and lifesaving activities.
Solid Paddleboard: Made from many different materials, including foam, fiberglass, Kevlar, plastic, and wood. Pros: No inflation time, goes straight into the water, super stable in strong winds or choppy currents.
Inflatable Paddleboard: Made of brushed material and PVC plastic layers, braided fibers connect the top and bottom inside the board. Pros: inflatable, foldable, easy to store, easy to transport, cheaper in price.
If you're looking for a paddle board, you've definitely heard of inflatable SUPs. Inflatables are gaining popularity among paddlers around the world - and for good reasons! The inflatable paddle board is durable, inflates and deflates quickly, folds into a backpack, and performs well in a variety of water environments. Want to take your SUP board anywhere without the hassle of storing and transporting your boards? The inflatable SUP is perfect for you. Fully durable and ultra-portable, the iSUP delivers great performance wherever you go - by plane, train, bus, boat or on foot.
Inflatable paddle boards have created a new way of life, leading more people to experience outdoor life, and spending more time in the nature. SUP is a great way to get fresh air and even increase your productivity.
Paddle boarding connects life together. This is a new social trend. You can paddle with your friends, family, partner or even your dog for a relaxing afternoon on the water.
Inflatable paddle boards are used for yoga, fishing, touring, racing, and surfing. It's a great way to release stress and experience the world. It's also a good workout as stand-up paddle boarding is a great way to work your core muscles—much better than using an elliptical in a crowded gym!
Inflatable stand-up paddle boarding has become a viral water sport over the past few years. It is emerged out of the need for portability, durable, and lightweight. It's a perfect mix of kayaking and surfing, not to mention its easiness to learn and undoubtedly fun.
All-Round Board: Usually thick and wide, stable, and suitable for all levels of paddles. The nose and tail of an all-round board are usually wide, enhancing the stability.
Touring Board: Optimized for still water. These boards are designed for long distance paddling and are generally longer and more stable than all-around boards. The longer length makes these types of paddleboards easier to paddle, ideal for long trips, such as multi-day paddleboarding. Most travel boards are wide enough to keep beginners steady.
Racing Board: Performance designed for speed, comfort and stability is set aside. They are similar in shape to touring boards in that they are long and cut water more efficiently for faster riding. However, they can differ in width.
Surfboard: Designed for SUP surfing fanatics, who can use the paddle board to ride the waves anytime, anywhere. The smaller the surfboard, the more flexible the surf, but also the more unstable, making it harder for beginners. To make it easier to catch waves, many experienced surfers are starting to paddle surf, especially when the waves are small, weak and difficult to catch with a conventional surfboard.
Multi-Person Board: Wide and stable. The board is perfect for family and groups, for activities such as cruising, yoga, or game playing.
Kids Board: Designed for kids. It's a perfect size for kids ages 5 and up to start riding water independently.
Paddling is not difficult at all! If you're a quick learner, you can easily master everyday recreational paddling in one day, then try out more challenging SUP activities such as SUP surfing and long-distance SUP touring. We created the Supzoom all-around paddle board for all purposes and all levels. When it comes to paddlers of all waters and all skill levels, we think it's best to offer you a paddleboard with optimized performance for the best paddling experience anywhere.
HOW DO I CHOOSE A PADDLE BOARD?
The first factor to consider when choosing a SUP type is your experience level.
Beginner:If you are new to the sport and want to try it in a fun way, the inflatable All-Round Board will be your first choice. It is suitable for beginners to intermediate paddlers. For beginners, still water paddling is a great way to start your journey, also a great way to relax and enjoy the outdoors on the SUP. It is more efficient to learn paddling on flat, calm water, such as a lake, pond, or protected bay. The All-Round Board has extra width for added stability, so it's very stable and can handle a variety of water conditions.
Intermediate:If you've paddled many times and are comfortable sailing calmly into slightly choppy waters, you're an intermediate paddler. As an intermediate paddler, you can try Touring Boards in addition to All-Round Boards. The Touring Board is optimized for still water. Designed for long distance paddling, the longer length makes these types of paddleboards easier to paddle with a faster speed, ideal for multi-day paddle trips. The Touring Board is also wide enough for intermediate paddlers to stay steady.
Experienced: You've been paddling for a long time, and maybe you've even taken classes before. You know proper paddling technique and feel comfortable paddling on different waters. If you enjoy the speed, you can upgrade to a racing board, designed for speed. They are similar in shape to touring boards in that they are long and cut water more efficiently for faster rides. However, they are narrower in width, so better balance is required.
After you have chosen the type of SUP based on your experience, you need to choose the right length, width, and thickness based on your weight.
Length: The size of your SUP from top to bottom.
Width: The measurement of your SUP from side to side.
Thickness: The distance between the top of the SUP and the bottom of the SUP.
Loading Capacity:If your SUP is too heavy, the board will drag into the water, making it difficult to paddle. So choosing a board that can effectively support your body weight (and the weight of your gear) has a direct impact on how your board handles the water.
When calculating your weight, don't forget to include any equipment, fishing gear, your dog, your children, and anything else you'll be carrying with you on your SUP board. At Supzoom, we list the weight capacity in the specs for all paddle boards.
Paddle Board Length:The ideal paddle board length for you depends largely on how you will use the board and your weight. Shorter boards perform better in surfing and cut water better than longer SUPs, but longer boards are more stable and perform better on longer paddle trips.
Short paddle boards (10 feet and under) are great for surfers and smaller paddlers. The short SUP is highly maneuverable, has a planing hull, which makes it an excellent surfing SUP. SUP boards under 8 feet are usually designed for children. We recommend purchasing a Surf SUP or a 10' All Around for your child for some growing space.
Mid-boards (10' to 12'6) are great all-rounders with a wide variety of uses. For most people, boards in the 10'6 to 11'10 range will be perfect for all range of recreational SUP activities.
Long Paddle Boards (over 12'6) are fast, efficient SUPs ideal for long distance paddling, touring and racing.
Paddle Board Width:Paddle boards come in a variety of widths - from about 26 inches to 72 inches. The most important factor in determining the correct width for you is the type of activities you will be doing. A wider board will be more stable, but not as fast as a narrower SUP. If the board you choose is too wide for your size, you may find it difficult to paddle. When choosing the ideal SUP width, consider the following factors:
Type of activities you prefer: We recommend using a SUP that is at least 31 inches wide when used for recreational paddling, SUP yoga and SUP fishing. If you plan to do SUP racing, choose a narrower board.
Your weight and size: Keep your weight and size in mind when choosing your SUP. If you're a big guy, go for a wider width - you'll be able to find balance more easily. If you are a smaller person, choose a narrower board or you will have to make wide and inefficient strokes with your paddle.
Ability Level: If you are an intermediate or experienced paddler, you will be able to balance on almost any SUP - including faster, narrower paddles. If you are a beginner, choose a wider SUP to make balancing easier.
Paddle Board Thickness:Paddle boards come in a variety of thicknesses - 4", 6" and 8", with 6" being the most common. The thicker the board, the more stable and the better the stiffness, torsion resistance, etc.
Your height is far less important than your weight and the weight of your gear when it comes to SUP functionality. Your height, if any, affects how you adjust the size of the paddle (the paddle should extend 8-10 inches above your head), but most paddles can be adjusted to almost any height.

ABOUT THE USER GUIDE
The Supzoom hand pump is capable of inflating the board in approximately 5-7 minutes when pumping at a quick and steady pace. Some riders have reported as little as 3.5 minutes and others have reported as much as 10 minutes. The inflation time will depend on the pace you keep when pumping. The High Grade hand pump that comes with the Supzoom boards reduces pumping time at least 20% over many single pumps. The Supzoom electric SUP pump is specially adapted to inflate any Supzoom board. It connects to a 12V car plug or marine battery and inflates the boards to 15 PSI in approximately 10-12 minutes.
The recommended pressure is 15 PSI. Supzoom boards can hold up to 20 PSI however you will not gain much in terms of performance and rigidity by inflating the board over 15 PSI.
Generally, the pressure gauge will start to register a pressure reading after the board reaches 7 PSI’s which is about 100-120 pumps. Make sure the pressure gauge isn’t loose and that the dial on your pump is not stuck in between settings.
Check whether the spring of the air valve is working properly , notice that the white button is in a pop-up state.
The wrench included in the repair kit should ONLY be used for leaking valves. Should you hear air escaping around the edge of the valve please ONLY use to tighten by turning clockwise. It should never be used to deflate your board. Improper use of this tool will void the board warranty.
First, cut out a smaller piece of the patch just big enough to cover the hole. We usually use a bottle cap or something like that ends up making a good size patch. Next, Clean the patch and board (area that will get glue) with an alcohol wipe. Allow to dry. Then, apply glue to each side (patch and board) and let the glue sit for a minute to get tacky. Last, Place patch on board over hole and clamp it down (bar clamps or hand clamps work best) for about 12 hrs. You can also use a heavy weight (> 20lbs) if you do not have clamps. That should do it. If your patch is too big, you will have to do little sections at a time (whatever you can compress with weight/clamps), that is why you don't want to use the full patch that comes in the repair kit. As always, if you need further assistance, please let us know!
Marine PVC glue from any local hardware store will work great!
Deflate your isup by pressing the the valve pin to the down position . It will then lock in this position. Air will naturally leave the board when the valve is in deflate. Roll the board up from the nose to the tail. Once all the air has been removed place the valve in the closed or “inflate” position, sticking up. This will prevent air from being sucked back into the board. Remove center fin. The deck pad should be on the inside and the fins on the outside. This preserves life of the deck pad. Boards should be stored dry. After use, especially in salt water, rinse board and paddle with fresh water. The board may be stored inflated or deflated. If inflated do NOT store in direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
Soapy water should do the trick! We also like to use mineral spirits for those tougher stains.
1.After using in sea water, rinse off the salt water on the board with fresh water
2.Do not use harsh chemicals for cleaning. Most dirt can be removed with mild soap and water.
3.From time- to-time your valve may need tightening to prevent any air leaks.
4.Towel or air dry before stowage
5.Tighten the air valve,Avoid sand and water falling into the valve
6.Do not store fully inflated
7.Avoid storing when wet
8.Avoid storing in a humid place ,then store out of strong UV
The Coast Guard requires a PFD to be on board your paddle board since it is considered a vessel. Look up your local water rules.
Yes! Your dogs’ nails will not pop the PVC and they ride well on almost any of our boards.Read our advice on how to paddle with your pet
Yes. Because of the Multiple d-rings on the deck of this iSUP you can attach most universal kayak seats.
Absolutely, we keep our displays and demos inflated for several months at a time. If you choose to leave the board in direct sunlight for an extended period of time it is recommended that you deflate the board to prevent over-expansion as this is not covered under the warranty.
Whichever direction makes you happy but it is easier to paddle with the bulgy towards the front of the board. This allows the water to slip more easily past the blade as it moves through the water.
The iSUP comes with an upgraded black aluminum alloy 3-piece adjustable paddle with nylon composite blade. It breaks down conveniently to fit into the included back pack and will float indefinitely as long as it is assembled.
There are lockers beside the board, make sure you clamp the paddle tightly.
Suggest: All our boards are made with high-strength and air-tight dwf material and are built to withstand minor impacts to rocks, wood pilings or sunken objects. Caution is recommended when you encounter harsh terrain. Punctures caused by extreme conditions are not covered under warranty.
1.Whilst paddling please consider appropriate clothing for the weather. It is highly recommended to wear a buoyancy aid vest , and a wetsuit in cooler conditions.
2.For your own safety please attach the ankel leash provided to your calf or ankle at all times.
3.Stay hydrated by packing a water bottle in your cargo area. You can secure a bag or cooler under the Front Leash with ease.
4.Store your mobile phone in the waterproof case provided.
5.Your board can expand and over-inflate in very hot temperatures. Please check the air pressure and deflate your board as necessary.
6.Please pack and store the sup in the backpack provided, in a cool dry place and away from direct sunlight.
7.You should clean and maintain your board after each use.
8. Do not over inflate,Inflate within 10-15 psi of recommendation9.Before deflating the board, please remove the fin
10.Avoid dragging over rough surfaces
